If you know me, you know I am a bit of a pressure cooker (and cooking) nut. I have a whole bunch of them. One of my absolute favorites is the Instant Pot DUO 7-in1 6 quart pressure cooker.
Due to the generosity of the Instant Pot company, I am able to give away one of these pressure cookers to one lucky reader in the U.S. and Canada. (I am sorry if you live somewhere else because the pot won’t make its way to you.)
In order to have a chance to win the pressure cooker, you need to comment below (Entry period for this giveaway is now closed). I will be choosing a winner via random number drawing at the end of my work day on Sunday, November 8th, 2016.
••I will also be giving away 3 copies of The New Fast Food ebook to 3 people who do not win the pressure cooker!
If you aren’t the winner and still want one of these amazing machines, you can purchase them from the Instant Pot Website and get $50 with the code vegqueen at checkout. Or you can order it from Walmart online and have it delivered to you.
Jill Nussinow, aka The Veggie Queen, sends out a monthly email newsletter and is the author of 4 books, including 2 on pressure cooking. The New Fast Food is available as an ebook and paperback. Her next book Vegan Under Pressure is now available for pre-order. Thank you for visiting.

I hope I’m not too late to enter this contest, but even if I am, I’m going to post why I want to win. I am about to embark on a new phase of my life….I’m in a relationship with a very nice gentleman, and he has a daughter. He is a wonderful father to her; he has been both mother and father to her, and he has tried to do the things with her and for her that a mother should do. He lets her “cook” with him; he lets her put salads together, he lets her make the cheese sandwich together before he grills them. He and I both are very busy people, but I realize I have to take the time with her and teach her things that will help her be self sufficient as she goes through life. I want to teach her to cook, I want her to decide what veggies to use in the meals we have. She gets home first, and she has to wait for dad to get home before she gets a meal, so if we had the Instant Pot, she wouldn’t have to wait an hour if not longer before she could eat. I am vegan, and have been watching other Youtube videos of cooks who use the Instant Pot for vegan family meals. Although my soon to be instant family isn’t vegan, I can also show my soon to be stepdaughter how to fix vegan “meats”, and cook them in the Instant Pot. My fiance’s idea of a meal, though, is a salad with roasted chicken in it, or grilled cheese sandwiches, because that’s all he has time to put together. I fix my own “meats” and freeze them, I make protein snacks, I make a lot of things now that I ordinarily wouldn’t have made had I not gone vegan, and I want to show my soon to be stepdaughter how to make the foods I now make. Having the instant Pot will be a tremendous help for me, to help her become a responsible young lady, and eventually do the things for her and her family that I want to teach her to do. Cooking with the Instant Pot is also a very healthy way to cook. I am trying to get away from srying, sauteing, and using the stove altogether, and the Instant Pot will be another way for me to do that.

The entries have closed but I appreciate your comment. I can easily see how an Instant Pot would be extremely useful for you to have. Good luck with your stepdaughter. It seems like she will be lucky to have you in her life.

What an exciting give away! I’m anxious to teach my son to cook and I think the Instant Pot would be a natural for this.
