I have met Lani Muelrath a couple of times at the McDougall program here in Santa Rosa where I live. She helps out at the Advanced Study weekends and I often drop in to check out what is going on.
When I heard that Lani had a book coming out, and that she also loves her pressure cooker, it was time to spend a little time with her. We met virtually and I am sure that we are now good plant-based friends and colleagues.
I had a chance to look at Lani’s Plant-Based Blueprint on her website and I think that you will find it interesting. It gives you insight into what Lani eats and has 16 recipes. It’s an amazing bonus. You can get to it here.
Now that I have had a chance to take a more in-depth look at this book, I can tell you that it’s packed full of gems related to exercise, how you think and what you eat. If there were just one book to get for motivation to start the year off right, I would get this one. It is being released very soon.
So, if you want to win the book, you need to leave a comment about why you would like to get more fit, following Lani’s sage advice. I will do anything that takes just 5 minutes and makes me look and feel better. What about you? I can’t wait to hear from you.
I am choosing the winner on January 25th at 9 pm PST. Good luck.

Thank you all for entering. You know that I consider you all winners because you chose to enter. With that said, only one book was the prize and Michelle was the lucky winner.

Winning Lani’s book would be a lifesaver for me. I feel like my health has been in a downward spiral and I need help to get back on track. My hubby’s job with the military has us traveling and living in lodging or hotels more than we are home. Right now we are in Korea. I would love a book that would provide excerise I could do quickly and wherever I find we are at the moment. I need the tips and help to once again get a grip on taking control of my health. Thank you for the opportunity to learn about this new book!

I wish that I could give each of you a book. If you don’t win, I highly recommend that you invest in the book to get the quickie workouts that will really work.
I love that you don’t have to commit so long to doing anything. I believe that something is better than nothing.
Don’t consider things a struggle but , perhaps, a challenge. Enjoy every day as much as you can.

I need to build muscle to maintain weight and blood sugar, and strengthen my bones. And decrease stress and anxiety! I tend to lose weight with stress, so losing weight has never been an issue for me. I need to maintain a certain weight so I feel good, sometimes it’s a struggle.

Almost everything I do is a “project” – get dressed and go on the treadmill, take a 15 min walk, go to Pilates class. Find the video to do a yoga tape. I need things I can do in between everything else – I have reached my weight goal and am eating they way I need to but need to firm up the flab in a few spots!
