As Valentine’s Day creeps up on us once again, it’s time to revisit love and what that means. Luckily for me, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to write about SARK’s latest book Succulent Wild Love: Six Powerful Habits for Feeling More Love More Often. If you are unfamiliar with SARK, then check her out at PlanetSARK.com.
Each one of SARK’s previous 16 books is playful and colorful and urge you to take action in a positive way. This is her first book with a co-author, her now fiancé psychologist John Waddell, Ph.D. This book is goes far beyond romantic love relationships and is written with an eye toward anyone, and everyone, who would like to improve their (love) relationships, with themselves family and friends, maybe even co-workers or other people who you interact with often.
Personally, I love SARK’s wildly creative and colorful style. John adds a more down to earth vibe but it’s equally as effective and perhaps more practical and easy for people to grasp. Together they have created a book and framework to give a person a new way to look at love and relationships based on six habits.
The Six Habits of People in succulent wild Love Relationships
* They listen to their relationship mentor inside them — their Inner Wise Self,
Higher Self, Holy Spirit — and take action.
* They use their feelings, both as a guide to know when the relationship is off
track and to constructively evoke cooperation from others.
* They recognize inner critics and other negative dialogue in their head and don’t
put this criticism on their partner — or themselves.
* They respect their own and their partner’s boundaries.
* They create Joyful Solutions where no one needs to compromise or sacrifice.
* They practice seeing the perfection in their partner and all the other people
they’re in relationships with.
I share this book with you as we approach Valentine’s Day as a way to garner and gather more love in your life. I truly believe that love is what fuels and feeds the world. At least it works that way for me.
