With Labor Day around the corner these recipes for veggie burgers appear just in time to eat some and to stash some in the freezer for a quick meal. Veggie burgers pop up on my blog every now and then.
I have an entire chapter in my book Vegan Under Pressure which includes information on how to make veggie burgers out of many different ingredients. In my first book The Veggie Queen: Vegetables Get the Royal Treatment, I have 3 different veggie burgers: Herbed Lentil, Mushroom Oat and Mushroom Veggie (can you see that I have a thing for mushrooms?). In my book Nutrition CHAMPS, the Mushroom Oat Burgers appear again as well as Baked Broccoli Burgers (Nikki Haney), Pinto Bean Quinoa Burgers and Umami Sundried Tomato and Almond Burgers (Dreena Burton).

I’m also sharing my sister’s black bean quinoa burger on her blog Wake Up and Eat. Her recipe is similar to mine. She likes to make them for many people. I usually only make 12 at a time or thereabouts. My goal is to stash a few in the freezer. My sister must have many more guests than I do, to make so many.
No matter which, or how many, burgers you make take the time to enjoy them.
