I can't thank Jill enough for introducing me to the world of pressure cooking. Now I can have wonderful, healthy meals in minutes that taste like I've been in the kitchen all day. It's such a perfect appliance for busy people who love to cook & eat great food. Both my sisters bought pressure cookers after tasting my soups and stews. Now we exchange recipes & tips! Hope to see you again soon…

Upcoming EventsPreserving the Harvest Come join Jill as she teaches you the art of preserviing. When we have abundance as we do in the fall, it's time to put food away. It used to be that one of the only ways to do that was to "put food up", as in canning. But modern conveniences such as the freezer and dehydrator have come into play. This class will cover basic canning techniques, freezing and drying and touch on the process of pickling foods. Please bring any "extra" produce and we can put it up in class. Everyone will leave with at least 1 "canned" jar. If you have extra canning jars and lids, bring them to use or share. This is a hands-on class so come prepared to can - please bring an apron, sharp knife and wear close-toed shoes.
